San Vigilio di Marebbe is a splendid little village in the mountains, placed  between Val Badia and Val Pusteria, at 1200 meters  a.s.l., and having no more than 1300 people.

It lies in the natural framework of the Dolomites, that are often described as

one the greatest architectural works ever found in nature.

If you wish to enjoy a summer holiday in San Vigilio, you have many options to choose.

From a wonderful sport holiday with excursions by walk or mountain bike and free-climbing , to a relaxing holiday with nice walks to the huts, to a gastronomic holiday by  tasting all our “Ladin” specialities, or a cultural holiday by discovering uses, traditions and legends of Ladin people.

The village position allows easy walks in the forests and by the river, up to the longer trips in the Fanes-Senes-Braies Natural Park, where you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama..

During the summer season the tourist office (together with the  shopkeepers) organises many events and festivals, that will make you enjoy even more your stay in the Dolomites.
